Indian travellers preparing for Taiwan work through two digital steps: the entry authorisation their passport requires, and — since October 2025 — the Taiwan Arrival Card (TWAC) that every foreign visitor files regardless of visa status. The second step just became easier to schedule: the TWAC now accepts submissions up to seven days before arrival, doubled from three, per the official portal.

The form asks for passport data, purpose of visit, flight or vessel details and accommodation, after an e-mail verification; a family or group on one itinerary can file a single combined submission. Everything stays editable until the document check at immigration — the confirmation e-mail's document number plus date of birth, passport number and nationality is the key to reopen it.
