Overview
The Consulate-General of the Netherlands in Mumbai covers western India from Express Towers at Nariman Point, in the city's financial core. For residents of its jurisdiction travelling to the Netherlands, the consulate runs the Schengen visa pathway — short-stay tourism and business plus the categories that follow the dense Dutch–Indian relationship in water management, agritech, maritime and port logistics, life sciences and finance. Dutch nationals in the region rely on it for consular help (a 24/7 emergency line is staffed), while applicants elsewhere in India are served by the Embassy in New Delhi.
Visa Services
Schengen visa applications for travel to the Netherlands are taken by appointment for residents of the consulate's jurisdiction. Short-stay tourism, business and other Schengen categories follow standard rules; long-stay (MVV) routes follow the relevant Dutch procedures.
